Chow Chow

Count my blessings that life is free of worries, that cravings can be fulfilled and I never have to experience extreme hunger, that my loved ones are always around me and making me feel their love. That true friends stay by my side no matter the years that go by and the circumstances we find ourselves in. That life is good :)

Jja Jjang Myun + Hite @ Togi just because I craved it.

Coffee + Toast @ Oriole Coffee Roasters.

Beer + Tapas @ The Tuckshop (yay to bars I can walk to from home).

Farewell Gracie-Poo

I don't know about you, but the thought of moving from Singapore has always been on my mind. I just don't have the guts to do it, but I'm so happy (and happily envious) that some of my friends do.

The poly mates gathered at Da Paolo Pizza Bar to give Gracie our most heartfelt well wishes and bear-tight farewell hugs. It's funny how life turned out, a disappointment transformed to the most amazing opportunity, life-changing seriously. She was given the golden handshake sometime last year, decided to take a break, follow her passion and work at a pet clinic, and wala! Here she is now, all packed and ready to get her degree in Brisbane to be a vet. We'll still be seeing each other around, and it's farewell not goodbye! :)

River Hongbao & Prosperity Martinis

Squeezing with the crowds on 初一 at Singapore's River Hongbao. Trying to get some "hweeling" which lasted until the next person stepped on my foot or coughed in my face. Bah.

One-on-one martinis at Paulaner, Clarke Quay saved the night.

May The Horse Be With You

Gong Hei Fatt Choy everyone!

This year, I realized, it's time perhaps for this year to be the last year we celebrate CNY. Next year we are SO booking that villa in Batam and hiding it out in the comfort of a private pool. Neigh.
