Wanderlust: Coconut Island, Phuket

July 2012: A weekend getaway with the gang in a private villa on a private island with a private pool. There was a little black dog that kept visiting us everyday. It was bliss doing absolutely nothing, though the weather was so inconsistent // 5 mins rain, 5 mins sun, so imagine us running in and out of the villa haha.

Beirut

Beirut at Arab Street last night, wonderful hummus and grill. I love middle eastern food, it's always marinated to perfection and you feel damn satisfied after it. I've never left a kebab store still wanting for more. Perfect end to Monday, before we winded down with a blueberry lassi at GoingOm @ Haji Lane. But it's lunchtime now and these pictures make me so hungry!! I'm a hungry hippo. Hungry hungry hungry hungers fumongous.

Cafe Review: Chye Seng Huat Hardware Store and Coffee Bar

Sunday brunch at Chye Seng Huat Hardware Store. Decor and concept was good. But that's just about it? They had limited drinks on their menu, they had no latte - you had to buy a cold brew and add the syrup and milk yourself, even then the coffee wasn't good. They had hot chocolate, but not iced chocolate how strange can't they just add ice? Food wasn't great either, the cakes were alright, but they probably didn't make it themselves. Novelty cafe, been there done that, don't think we'll be back!
