Maji Maji is described as a playground for adults. Essentially it's a square filled with trendy cafes, local start-up designers setting up booths, a gourmet supermarket and a food court serving some awesome-smelling local food (I only smelt it didn't taste haha).
It's only 1 stop from Jiantan MRT (where Shilin night market is) - so I recommend coming here in the late afternoon before proceeding for some serious chow at the night market.
My initial reason for coming to Maji2 was to check out Lego Cafe, but when we got there it was just a scream fest of children so I just took a couple of shots and scrammed. Me and children - no no.
