Summer in Amsterdam

Back in Singapore! Slept most of yesterday after spending the whole of Saturday on a plane back, next to a (mostly) happy baby! Summer is a happy time to visit Amsterdam indeed! The weather does affect people and when it's grey and dreary outside, so are the people :S It was a super productive week for me, and I'm glad I made the trip, but I'm also super glad to be back!

The temperature reached 30C one day in Amsterdam, and everyone just took their canteen trays out to the field to enjoy the sun! I braved the damn pigeons for this, but it was a very nice experience! :)

Team dinner at Stacey's the restaurant just opposite the office. If you wanna talk about fengshui and luck, this restaurant is making big bucks off the company due to the many team dinners held there haha. Talk about strategic location as well! And also here I found out that "it's a boy!" LOL.

Had the chance to visit the pop-up Magnum store on Rembrandt Square, also hello hello near our office! It costs 4 Euros to create a customized Magnum and there was always a queue! It was also a mini-Magnum museum sort-of, with some really wacky Magnums on display!

And as the city grows dark (no earlier than 10pm that is), it takes on a whole different feel and look.
