Kko Kko Nara

Watching Korean dramas just makes you want to:

a) Eat ramyun
b) Eat fried chicken
c) Eat jjajjangmyun
d) Eat kimchi soup
e) Eat korean bbq
f) Eat all above with downed with soju *clears throat*

Which explains why, on Saturday evening, we found ourselves at Kko Kko Nara clicking cucumber soju bombs and bobbing to Korean MTVs. Of course, going home mabok like hell.

Fun times with Nettie Koh.

Nettie's Birthday

We spent the day out, eating Nettie's favourite food, doing Nettie's favourite things, hanging out with Nettie's favourite friend. Cos that's the way birthdays should be.

Always

You were you,
And I was I;
We were two before our time.

I was yours before I knew, and you
have always been mine too.

Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa Singapore

The siblings were born on the very same day, 7 years apart, so we always have our annual double birthday bash. This time we all met for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa Singapore, at Resorts World Sentosa. The very last Hard Rock Cafe I went to was in Gold Coast many years ago, and I remember my uncle was a big fan of their t-shirts (like how some people collect Starbucks tumblers now).

It was a surprisingly good experience food-wise. We ordered wings (SGD17) and bruschetta (SGD12) for starters, 4 New York Strips (SGD 46) and a Mushroom Swiss Burger (SGD26). Iced tea and soft drinks are refillable at SGD6 each. Overall for the price, I think it's worth it, we were all struggling to finish our 12 oz. steaks. And the taste met expectations. The burger was one of the best I'd ever eaten.

If it's your birthday be sure to holler. They will holler for sure with a loud birthday song. But you can always just request for the free sundae if you don't want your birthday to be publicized to the entire world.

Wanderlust: Hakone and Mt. Fuji

This last trip there were many firsts. Is that what growing together means? Even when you are together for so long, every single day, you still get to experience so many firsts. First snow fall, first sub zero temperatures, first outdoor onsen in the freezing cold, first lobster sashimi, first views of the morning mountain...the list goes on and on. I hope these firsts are not the lasts, here's to many more firsts to come.
